1. Why did you choose to earn your degree at SMWC?
I chose SMWC because of the art therapy master’s program and because of the beautiful nature surrounding campus.

2. Why did you choose your major?
I have always loved art and helping people, so why not combine them?

3. What is your favorite place on campus?
It’s a tie between Club ’64 and the hiking trails in the woods behind the barns.

4. What have you been involved in (student clubs and organizations, sports teams, etc.) during your time at SMWC?

  • Powerlifting Club
  • President of Peace and Justice Club
  • Assisting in  the creation of a Fine Arts student organization
  • Sprint Football Video Manager
  • French/Art Academic Peer (Tutor)
  • Club ’64 Student Worker

5. What is a favorite memory you have from your Woods experience?
After our makeshift sleds fell apart from the wetness of the snow, my roommate and I were invited by the Sisters of Providence to sled down the hill by the Grotto with them.

6. How do you plan to stay connected to SMWC after graduating?
I plan on enrolling in the Master of Art Therapy Program 🙂

Lucia, I love to see how involved you are in so many different activities and leadership roles.. And your delightful "sledding story"!
